Here is my AAR and Airsoft photo gallery from Op Final Option, which was a 2-Day Airsoft event held from December 16-18, 2011 at Hill559 in Fresno, CA.

I mean seriously. Who gives a crap about it unless it's been reviewed, right? Well, this "Airsoft Reviews" section is where I talk about the goodies so that you can then give a crap about it.
This is the gun that replaced the originally planned, KWA MK23 SPECWAR GBB Pistol.
Don't think FOR A SECOND! that this is all I've got up my sleeve. That doesn't even BEGIN to scratch the surface. I've got all kinds of content featuring new guns, some released and some still in the prototype gun phase.
I'll be adding it all to the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog, so keep your mouse on that refresh button because another update will be coming shortly.
Check the link below to track the latest develops on anti-gun Senator Kevin De Leon's California Senate Bill 798 (CA SB 798), legislation that would improperly classify Airsoft guns as "toys" and require them to be painted entirely in a bright or color, or be made of transparent material to distinguish them as toys (even though they are anything BUT something a child should be playing with). Why else would Federal law mandate that one must be over the age of 18 to purchase an Airsoft gun? They're training tools and mil-sim gaming equipment for responsible adults. Church.
My mind was blown when I was introduced to the SOCOM Gear CheyTac M200 Intervention Airsoft Sniper Rifle at the JAG Precision Booth during Shot Show 2011 in The Vegas. This page details my thoughts.
Here is video part II, of PolarStar's incredible new Fusion Engine dropped into an Airsoft M249 SAW. This is just a stress test, so don't freak out when you see the velocity readings (shot with a .20g BB)

For the full story, head on over to the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog and read all about it.
I'm uploading a truckload of photos as I type this. Let me just tell you, my lovely readers, Shot Show 2011 was no joke. The KWA KRISS Vector Has Arrived

So Popular Airsoft has put together the 1st Annual Airsoft Players' Choice Awards. The Pyramyd Airsoft Blog, a blog which I write for PyramydAir.com, was among the top 5 nominees for the Best English Language Airsoft Blog in 2010. I have to say that I'm extremely flattered and totally surprised that my blog was even nominated. However, now that I've been nominated, I would like to win ("If you give a mouse a cookie..."). So if you think my blog is better than the other four options, then I would really appreciate your vote. Notice that I didn't say you had to think I was the best English Language Airsoft Blog that there is, just of the 5 of us that were nominated for that category. I realize that I'm up against some very tough competition, especially with Thumpy in the mix, but I refuse to give up hope.
The link to the Popular Airsoft Page explaining this a bit more in detail is below, as well as a direct link to the survey itself (I am in category #8, and the blog name is the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog). I'd also like to point out that two good friends of the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog & Airsoft-Obsessed.com were nominated as well. Carp, over at CQBRadio, and Ben Noji of PolarStar Airsoft, who distributes EdGI Precision Inner Barrels, each deserve a win in their respective categories. Thanks for your support, homies. I freakin love you. I really do. Like no bullsh!t. But I don't love you more than Airsoft. I have to be up front about that. I'm sure you understand.
C'mon Peeps! Vote for the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog!!! If you do, you will look extra high speed to all your buddies and you'll likely attract more women. Some of them may be fat, but you gotta slay a few dragons to get to the princess. 5...4...3...2...1...Do it.
I suppose it's no secret that I've not updated the website I affectionately refer to as Airsoft-Obsessed.com in awhile and I deeply apologize to you, meine lieblings.
I've been quite busy with the holidays trying to orchestrate family members coming in town to visit me, Airsoft teammates coming to visit me from out of town and to play a lot of Airsoft in a short amount of time, and trying to keep my life from crashing at 150 mph. So again, I'm sorry. For the most recent updates on what I've been doing, check out the last few posts on the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog, found here: (Pyramyd Airsoft Blog
Additionally, I'm trying to get time off from my big boy job in January to attend the 2011 Shot Show in Vegas, as well as plan a few other very large business endeavors (Airsoft-related, of course) for the new year.
In case you ever run into me on the field somewhere and were wondering what I roll with in those big ol' cases, the image above is an accurate representation of what you may or may not find. Those items might include Airsoft guns like my upgraded, custom Tokyo Marui M14 DMR and VFC HK416 AEGs, along with an M16 or two, in this case, the KWA KM16 Battle Rifle. Those of you astute enough to notice that silver and beastly hand canon may or may not recognize it as the WE 7" HiCapa Dragon, plus I've got my WE tan Desert Warrior and 1911 MEU. I will tell you that hopefully in the near future, I will have my beloved KAC M110 SASS project up and running. I am currently using a Classic Army CA25 platform to build on. I will humbly admit that for whatever reason, I have run into problem after problem with this project and can honestly say without hyperbole that this has been the biggest nightmare of a project that I've ever had to deal with since I starting working on guns 4 or 5 years ago. BUT...I refuse to surrender. I will make it work and it will work well when it's all said and done. I will be putting up a recap of the process when I get a chance, not only here but also on the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog as well, so keep an eye out for it.
WE is going to be releasing their new H&K G36C replica, in gas blowback form, of course. Here's a shot of their brand new G39C GBB Rifle:
Who likes this gun? I'm curious to see how many G36 fans there are out there. If you're a fan, sound off on the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog like you've got a pair.
In my typical, cart-before-the-horse fashion, I posted a bunch of videos and various tutorials on the WE M14 before I actually produced my usual photo introduction and review for the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog. So tonight, I have finally put up what should have been one of my first few posts in the series of posts for the WE M14 Review.

AAR - Jericho vs. Desert Fox Fields - 09/25/10
So I had a pretty damn good time out in Lake Elsinore, CA at the Jericho vs. Desert Fox Field Event, held at the Jericho Airsoft Field. I had such a good time, despite the blistering heat, that I wrote about it on the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog in some detail. Check it, before you wreck it. There's some videos in there as well. Click the "Events" link on the right-side of the page once you get to the blog. Word.
I hope you're starting to see a trend here. Yep, I'll be covering the WE M14 GBBR for awhile. There's more avenues I'd like to explore, so grab a Snickers.
Today's update on the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog includes a guide to converting the WE M14 GBB rifle magazines from 20 rounds to 30 rounds. It's pretty easy. Hopefully my guide does not suck and you, too, will find how easy it is. Check the link below for the guide.
Admittedly, I agree, it's not the best video quality, or even close, just like the others. However. I'll be refilming the takedown process and will be taking tons of pics using my wife's new Canon 7D, so you'll have no problems getting a good look at exactly what is going on inside the WE M14 GBB. There's plenty more to come, including an accuracy test or two, hopefully a skirmish report once I can get some more mags, and a performance upgrade write-up. Man, that girl is a ho...fo sho.
Never a dull moment when there's a WE M14 involved (EBR UPDATE!!!!!!!)
Keep checking in either here at Airsoft-Obsessed.com or to the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog (link below) for all your WE M14 GBB EBR updates.
I'm VERY excited for the M14 EBR, and something tells me I'm not the only one. James Chan continues to set the bar EXTREMELY high. Well played, James. Well played.
Check out the link below for the latest video updates that I posted to the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog. Once I've got the takedown/disassembly videos posted up this week, I've got a few other tricks up my sleeve that I think you might enjoy. Stay tuned...
So I picked up the highly anticipated M14 gas blowback rifles from WE and have begun to review it on my blog for PyramydAir.com. click the link below to follow my progress. Right now I've got two HD videos up of me unboxing the rifle for the first time and firing a few rounds with it. Let's just say I wanted to giggle like a school girl but luckily was able to keep my composure on camera subsequent to firing the gun. Stay tuned for plenty more videos.
So I went out and played some Airsoft last weekend. Overall, I had an absolutely lovely day. I shot a bunch of bad guys, I made people afraid of me just because my M14 looked so bad ass, and course, I cover the various incidences and lessons learned the hard way from the day on the Pyramyd blog. I've gone ahead and linked to the two posts. Airsoft.
I'm finally going to get to take my VFC HK416 CQBeast out for some shoot 'em up this weekend. Any suggestions on the best place to go play in the SoCal area?
I just put up a blabbering about the WE Baby Hi-Capa 3.8 on the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog. If you're interested in the gun, what I have to say, seeing a picture of my baby next to a hi-capa that is almost longer than he was at the time the photo was taken, or all of the above, then you'll want to click the link below and check out my latest blog entry.
More on the VFC, plus a very, oh-so brief taste of my Marui14 DMR Project
I just posted a video to the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog in which I highlight my failed attempt to do a range test on my recently completed VFC HK416 CQB project. I happened to finish my Tokyo Marui M14 DMR project shortly after the VFC, so I decided to bring that out to the range as well while I had everything set up and ready to go. Check out the link below for the vid.
Sup foolz? Did you miss me? Well, I missed you, too. You're awfully sweet for saying that. Since you were so nice, I'd like to do you a favor and share some information with you. I've been cheating on Airsoft-Obsessed.com and have been heavily involved an in Airsoft love affair with another awesome website. Yup, still writing for the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog. There have been quite a few additions to that blog since the last time I updated this thing. Check out the VFC HK416 CQB AEG I just got done not only reviewing, but upgrading into a very sick little CQB platform. Check out the review for all the scrumptious content: Click for more info
Here's part 3. Don't be a stranger. Does it suck? It's awesome? Is it somewhere in the middle, giving you mixed emotions? Just like that rap/hip-hop/R&B song said, "Tell me how you like it, dog baby girl." Or something like that. Let me know how to make it better, if that's at all possible. Airsoft.
Review of the WE SCAR-L Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle
I just put up Part I of my review of the WE SCAR-L GBB Airsoft Rifle. Check it out. Let me know what else you would like to see, other than the stuff that I already stated I was planning on adding. Don't be a turd. Love you.
Some of you may be wondering why there have not been any updates to the site lately. Well let's just say I've got my hands full at the moment. I started writing a blog for Pyramyd Air last month and have been focusing my limited free time there. That doesn't mean that I'm abandoning this site, but for the next few months, I'll probably be spending all my time over there to get that rolling.
Here's the link: http://airsoft-guns-blog.pyramydair.com Use the RSS link on the blog to subscribe. You'll get updates whenever I add new content, which will be daily. I've already got a ton of stuff lined up for review purposes that I think a lot of players will be interested in. Check out the review I did on the Plano All-Weather Gun Case. If you're looking for a much more affordable alternative to the Pelican or Storm cases, this case will probably be your best bet. As always, there's more to come.
After a bit further research and critical thinking, I've come to the conclusion that the Systema Magnum Motor might not be worth the extra $crilla. I've updated the motor section of the AEG page to include a bit of a disclaimer until further research & testing can be done.
Check out the new mapping system I embedded into my site, courtesy of Airbana Airsoft Maps. It's pretty sick. If you don't see your favorite field(s) on there, you can add them to the data base at www.airsoftmap.net
